Your Questions Answered

I recommend booking as early as you can as my spots are limited. I only take on 8 bookings per month and tend to book out in advance for weekends and school holidays.

Choosing outfits can be tricky and I am here to help.
I recommend sticking to one or two colours combined with neutral tones. I recommend no logos, fluro colours or loud patterns. If you would like to hire a gown let me know and I will give you the discount code. You can check out my Pinterest board here for inspiration. Click here
My clients will also receive 10% discount if they wish to hire a beautiful gown through Mama Rentals for your session, these gowns are suitable for all sessions. View Mama Rentals here.

Outdoor sessions will take place the hour prior to sunset as the light during golden hour is the most beautiful. Outdoor sessions are weather dependant, we will keep in touch prior to your session to choose a suitable day. Indoor sessions generally take place around 10am

Your Full Gallery will be emailed to you via an Online Gallery within 2-3 weeks of your session.

My outdoor sessions go ahead in all weather, except for rain. If it is predicted to rain on the day, I will watch the weather and we will discuss on the morning of the photoshoot day if we need to postpone your session. If you or a family member is unwell please let me know as early as possible and we can reschedule.

questions & Answers

When should we get newborn photos taken?

It is best to photograph a newborn between 1 to 2 weeks after birth to achieve those adorable and sleepy poses. However, I also find joy in capturing babies up to 3 months old as each stage presents its own unique charm and precious moments.

I will make a cozy setting with soft, natural light in rooms like the living room, nursery or master bedroom. Even with just one window, we can get great photos. The sessions last 1 - 2 hours.  Feel free to tidy up, but don't worry about everything being perfect. Any necessary tweaks can be done during the shoot for great photos.

Where can we have our photos taken?

I have a few beautiful outdoor locations to choose from, including beach or forest sessions, once you book with me, we can discuss the best location to suit you, alternatively you can choose an in-home session or we can even hire out a studio for your session.

What is your newborn Safety?

Hygiene and Safety of your baby is always the top priority. I have completed Newborn Safety training and a working with children check. I will handle your baby with love, care and respect.

I love to include your furry friends into your session, please let me know if you would like to include your dog as this may influence where your session can take place.

I enjoy helping you create special memories with Grandparents and extended family, please let me know when booking and we can include them into your session. Extra fees apply for Extended families, see Pricing page for more information.
